Nawlins + Austin  = Fried Oyster Po’Boy Taco.
That’s right, son!

First step, a little homemade remoulade.  Mayo, celery, pickle relish, jalapeno, red bell pepper, onion, pepper and hot sauce.

Then… fried oyster goodness.

We god a tub of pre-shucked oysters from Whole Foods.  We at Chez Venza are a little too scared of buying live oysters and shucking.

Those ugly looking buggers get dredged in some cornmeal and other such ingredients.

FRY!  FRY! FRY!

Golden, brown, and delicious!

Corn tortilla, tomato, remoulade, fried oysters, and broccoli slaw (a Chez Venza substitute for lettuce).  Lassez les bon temps rouler, ya’ll!
